Youth Ministry

Ministry for and by our young people plays a big part in the life of First Baptist Church. In addition to Sunday Morning Bible Study for middle school and high school students, youth are encouraged to be part of our mid-week youth gathering—and a Sunday praise band rehearsal. From these foundations, everyone is invited to plug into a variety of other activities like social events, conferences, mission trips and service projects.

Our youth leader is Katie Bradshaw. Katie grew up in our church; and after getting a degree in Christian education from Gardner-Webb University and a variety of children's ministry and youth ministry experiences in other congregations, she has 'come home' to help us lead our young people into deeper levels of fun, growth and service.
