Philosophy

It is our philosophy here at First Baptist to love and accept all children regardless of race, sex, socioeconomic status, or religious affiliation. It is our hope that when a child has completed our program, he or she will be prepared for kindergarten, will exude confidence and self-worth, and will understand the sacrifice Christ made to show His love for all people.  We strive to provide each child a structured environment free from ridicule and intimidation.  Our effort is guided by the Bible’s admonition, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever, Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)

Policies and Procedures

• Our school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends the fourth Thursday in May
• Our daily hours are 9 AM to 12 PM
• Four year old classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Three year old classes meet Tuesday and Thursday
• Two year old classes meet Tuesday and Thursday
• Registration fee if $40
• Monthly tuition for 2’s is $70
• Monthly tuition for 3’s is $75
• Monthly tuition for 4’s is $85
• There is a $10 tuition discount for siblings
• Each child must be class age by August 31st
• Those children enrolled in the 3 and 4 year old class must be potty trained
• The instructional approach is based upon the Wee Learn Curriculum and

“Learning through Play” Centers.

• We follow the Union County Public School System schedule
