Local and Global Missions

First Baptist Church of Marshville is eager to share and live the Good News of God's kingdom right in our own community and around the world. Much of this ministry and witness takes place through the hands-on efforts of our members, often in the form of mission trips or projects sponsored by our Women's Mission Group and Men's Fellowship.

Our church is also pleased to support the spread of the gospel through a number of ministry partners:

  • Our regular mission giving and special mission offerings support the work of ministry partners like the Union Baptist Association, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the Southern Baptist Convention, and the Baptist World Alliance.
  • Through the benevolence of the Roy P. Stegall Endowment, a mission fund administered by our congregation, we are able to make regular contributions to a number of local ministries including:
    • Crisis Assistance Ministry of Union County

    • HealthQuest of Union County
    • HELP Crisis Pregnancy Center
    • Hospice of Union County
    • Operation Reach Out
    • Regional AIDS Interfaith Network
    • Union County Christmas Bureau
    • Union County Habitat for Humanity
    • Union County Homeless Shelter
